Perth processing plant on track for January completion

Following the installation of an important autoclave component at its Perth cobalt sulphate processing plant, battery metals producer Australian Mines has advised that the plant is on course for a late January completion.
The plant, which is under construction by Western Australian firm, Simulus Engineers, is a vital part of the emerging tech metal producer’s expansion plans.
Managing director Benjamin Bell said that commercial-grade cobalt sulphate, nickel sulphate and scandium oxide would be delivered to potential off-take partners in February.
“Following our oversubscribed capital raising late last year, we are fully funded to complete our bankable feasibility study on Sconi and take that project through to a final investment decision,” he explained.
“[This includes] a comprehensive program of ore processing through the demonstration plant to fine-tune the larger scale engineering studies.” Read more…
